Hi, I'm Jiaxu (Jashu). I'm a master's student in Computer Science at Yale University. I graduated from Fudan University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics (highest distinction).
I’m passionate about AI and entrepreneurship. My research focuses on applied AI, with representative work on retrieval-augmented diffusion models for e-commerce (KDD '25) and physics-guided neural networks for air quality prediction (NeurIPS '25 Workshop, Oral Presentation). These projects are advised by Prof. Yun Xiong at College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Fudan University. After college, I worked at Boston Consulting Group Shanghai office as an Associate, specializing in data science.
My life trajectory started in the suburbs of a small town, moved to Shanghai for college, now continues at Yale. Along the way, I came to appreciate how the exposure to diverse cultures and the exchange of different ideas could enable the reimagination of a career and a life. Therefore, I’m passionate about connecting people through intercultural communication and public speaking. Feel free to explore the exciting activities that have shaped my journey.
Beyond all that, I am a Ravenclaw, an ENTJ, a jogger, an amateur pianist, a professional Hulusi player, and more to be discovered. Thank you for stopping by and it's a pleasure introducing myself to you. If any of my stories resonate with you, feel free to reach out and I look forward to another interesting conversation!
